Michael Hanna is an artist from Northern Ireland. His work takes the form of social and sensory experiments on both a domestic and a public scale.

Recent solo exhibitions include Centre Culturel Irlandais, Paris (2024) and the Centre for Contemporary Art Derry~Londonderry (2024).

Group exhibitions include the Chennai Photo Biennale, NURTUREart, New York, TULCA Festival of Visual Arts, The MAC, Belfast, Freelands Foundation, London and Crawford Art Gallery, Cork.

Hanna’s films have been presented at the Walker Art Centre, Anthology Film Archives, Alchemy Film and Moving Image Festival, Docs Ireland, Collective, Belfast Film Festival and Les Rencontres Internationales,

His work is represented in major public collections including the Arts Council Collection and the National Collection of Ireland.
